  • Take a baking sheet with high sides and grease it with 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. Place pre-washed rice on it;

The dish requires the following ingredients:


  • red fish (preferably taken in one piece) – 500-700 g;
  • rice – 250 g;
  • large carrots, large onion, tomato - 1 pc.;
  • hard cheese - grated 1.5 cups;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • fresh dill or parsley;
  • favorite seasonings, salt.

The sequence of creating this culinary masterpiece is as follows:

  • Wash the fish, remove the skin and excess bones, salt and roll in your favorite spices. Place the prepared piece on a baking sheet, lightly greased with butter; if you wish, you can cut the fish, but this is not necessary;
  • Boil the rice in salted water, drain in a colander, and allow excess liquid to drain. Spread the dried cereal in an even layer over the fish;
  • Place mayonnaise or sour cream in a separate bowl, add chopped onion and grated carrots. Mix everything carefully. Spread the resulting sauce over a layer of rice;

Ingredients:

  • Red or white fish fillet - 300-400 g.
  • Rice - 3/4 cup

  • Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 90 g.

  • Garlic - 3 cloves

  • Cream - 100-150 g.

  • Juice of one lemon and lemon zest

  • Fresh hot pepper - 1/2 pcs.

  • Onion - 1 head

  • Sweet, yellow, red and green peppers - 1/2 each

  • Small cucumber - 1 pc.

  • Cherry tomatoes - 3-5 pcs.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.

  • Starch - 1 tsp.

  • Soy sauce - 3 tbsp. l.

  • Ginger root - 1 small

Preparation:

  • Rinse the rice several times until the water is clear. Place in a saucepan, add water 2 cm above the rice, bring to a boil, add salt, stir and cook until tender for 20-25 minutes. Rinse the rice in a saucepan, drain the water through a sieve and let the water drain.

  • Set aside. Rice can be prepared in advance.

  • Wash the fish fillet, dry it, salt and pepper, pour in lemon juice, let stand for 10-15 minutes, roll in flour.

  • Melt 1/3 butter in a frying pan.

  • Grate 1/2 teaspoon zest from the lemon on a fine grater.

  • Add cream, lemon zest, juice of half a lemon, and hot pepper to the melted butter.

  • Heat the sauce, stirring constantly, when it starts to thicken, remove from the heat, stir well and pour the sauce over the fish.

Prepare sauce for vegetables:

  • In a deep container, mix sugar, juice of half a lemon, and starch. Grate 1-2 cloves of garlic

  • grate the root of fresh peeled ginger on a fine grater, add soy sauce, mix everything and add about 1/3 cup of water.

Prepare vegetables:

  • Peel the onion, cut into 4 parts, cut the quarters in half.
  • Also cut the multi-colored peppers into large pieces.
  • Cut the cucumber into slices.
  • Cherry tomatoes in half.

  • Heat the remaining vegetable oil and butter in a large frying pan, add the second part of finely chopped hot pepper, fry for 1-2 minutes, add onions, fry for 1-2 minutes,
  • add sweet peppers, fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, add cucumber and cherry tomatoes and fry for another 2-3 minutes.

Gently mix the sauce for vegetables and pour into the vegetables.

Different varieties and types of rice go harmoniously with fish: short-grain, long-grain, polished, unpolished, steamed, etc. Each type of rice has its own cooking time. 1. Clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the onion into quarter rings. Grate the carrots on a Korean grater or cut them into thin strips with a knife.

2. Place the frying pan on the stove. If you have thin aluminum cookware, immediately set it aside. This metal is not able to accumulate heat, so it will not be able to heat the product evenly. Another thing is a thick-bottomed frying pan.

3. Add 50 g of melted butter to a slightly warmed bowl.

If you can’t find any melted butter, you can replace it with refined vegetable oil.

4. Place the chopped onion in hot fat and fry it until light golden brown. Add some carrot sticks here. Cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer its contents over low heat for about 10 minutes.

5. Pour the rice into a bowl and rinse intensively with running cold water. This step is very important. The higher quality the product, the less time this procedure will take you. For the premium variety, 3-4 washes are sufficient. But to wash off dirt and other impurities from cheap varieties, the water will have to be drained 8-10 times.

Please note that the last drained liquid should be clear.

6. Pour the grains into the vegetables. Pour boiling water over it all and carefully level it out. If necessary, add liquid again. It should cover the other ingredients by 1 cm. Add 10-20 g of ghee there. As well as salt, pepper and spices that you consider suitable for fish and rice.

7. Increase the heat to maximum and wait for the water to boil. Next, cover the dish with a lid, reduce the flame to low and leave for 20-25 minutes.

To prepare this side dish, you can use any variety available to you. Believe me, everything will work out the first time. It will come out delicious, beautiful and aromatic. For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

  • Rice - glass
  • Vegetable oil (preferably refined) – 3 tablespoons
  • Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Fine salt - to taste
  • Water – 2 glasses

How to cook:

Rinse the cereal thoroughly until the draining water becomes clear.

In addition, after such a dinner, you will still have to scrape the burnt grains from the walls and bottom of the container for a long time. Not a pleasant prospect, right?
