How to cook semolina porridge in the microwave:

After this, holding a spoon in your right hand and continuously stirring the milk with your left, you need to carefully pour out the semolina. It is recommended that the semolina fall into the milk in a thin stream, but practice shows that if it is gradually dispersed over the milk, this also prevents the formation of lumps.

When you have poured out all the semolina, you need to continue stirring the porridge until it boils. After this, cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to minimum and cook the semolina porridge for another couple of minutes. After this, butter is added to it and left to simmer for 15 minutes under a closed lid. After this time, the porridge will be ready for consumption.

  • Never cook semolina in water alone - it will turn out fresh and completely tasteless;
  • If you want the porridge to be less fatty or you don’t have enough milk, you can cook it by adding water. This will not significantly affect its taste. You can mix milk and water in equal proportions or add part water to 3 parts milk;
  • Cook semolina porridge at a time. This porridge is especially tasty when it is fresh and hot. Therefore, it is recommended to cook it in small quantities;
  • Reheat semolina porridge correctly. This recommendation is relevant if it was not possible to cook semolina at once. To warm it up, you can use a water bath.
